Thursdays. 6-8pm
(7 weeks)  Sept 12 – October 24

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew?  Now is your chance! River Tree is now offering a relaxed yet informative class for those with little or no knowledge of sewing. After this 7 week class, you will feel confident in your basic sewing skills.

We will cover:

  • Sewing machine basics (care & use)
  • Stitch basics and types
  • Fabric and fiber types
  • Marking and cutting fabric
  • Understanding sewing pattern markings
  • Sizing and fitting

We will work on some beginners projects so you will have some finished pieces to bring home and show off. 

What to bring: Sewing Machine (If you do not have your own machine, one can be supplied)
