Learn to Knit

This class is for both total beginners and newbies or lapsed knitters who want to become more confident with the craft. We’ll learn all the basics of knitting: casting on, binding off, the knit stitch and the purl stitch, knitting with two straight needles and knitting in the round with a circular needle. 

Students should bring to class, a pen/pencil, scissors, a ruler, two rubber bands, a tote bag to carry supplies/projects.

MEMBERS: $122 (+ $25 materials fee)     NON-MEMBERS: $136   (+ $25 materials fee)

About the instructor, Tina Fischer:
Tina has been an addicted knitter since she was a teen, has taught many friends and family members to knit, and designs knitting patterns too. She especially loves to knit accessories - because they can be finished quickly and worn often. In teaching, she incorporates techniques in project-based learning, shares how to choose the best yarn for your project, and how to be sure that what you knit fits.
