Outdoor Art & Exploration

10am -12pm
Ages 7-11
Instructor: Piper Castles
In this outdoor camp, students will create earth art inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy. This type of art is made in nature using natural materials (mandalas made of leaves or sculptures of stones on the beach). We will create artwork that is impermanent but students will photograph their projects to preserve them. Children will immerse themselves in nature and creativity!
Members: $155 / Non-Members: $168 (includes materials fee)
LOCATION: This class will take place at various scenic spots around town including Narragansett beach and Rogers Pond. Details will be emailed prior to class.
Important Information
1. All students need to complete and return a consent form. Download the consent form here.
2. COVID policies: Masks must be worn by instructors and students during the duration of their visit to River Tree Arts. In-person classes are subject to switch to virtual classes at any time.
